Design has been a passion of mine back before I even realized that I was passionate about design. I recall being most excited about my art and photography classes in high school. So, when it came time to decide my major for college, naturally, I chose to pursue my calling and graduated in 2007 from Harrington with a Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Art in Interior Design, and have been designing in the kitchen and bath industry ever since.
I am fortunate that at Insignia I do not come to “work” every day, but I come to a place where I am inspired by clients visions and ideas, and encouraged daily by my talented co-workers. There is nothing more satisfying than collaborating with clients, co-workers, and contractors to see a project develop from conception to reality. I have been able to apply this method in both residential and commercial projects, all over the Chicagoland area, and even California. I am proud to say that I have received awards for my designs and have been published in the Chicago Tribune.
I have gained profound insights on different cultures through my travels and have been humbled and intrigued by the history of their architecture and art. One of my most treasured experiences is seeing an ancient world wide tradition, the Olympics, taking place in the place of my origin, Greece. Besides my love for travel, and art history, I am fluent in the Greek language, and have recently started exploring rock climbing, and partaking in obstacle race courses, such as the Spartan. All aspects of our lives are influenced by design in some way, and everyone one of my designs are influenced by my life experiences.
